This is an excellent resource for teaching children the concept of number operations. As an educator, I recommend this book as a tool of instruction for both school and home.
I've been teaching math for more than 20 years. I love this book. The creativity of the characters as well as the story of the "doctors" is a great way to catch the readers' attention. I like the problems and the fact that practice problems are included throughout. Definitely a great buy!
This is a wonderful book to help children understand math language and simple operations. It is colorful, interesting,engaging, and simplistic enough for the young learner to understand. It also includes practice problems to help enforce learning. I highly recommend it!
Wow!! This book is a MUST HAVE for all educators. I have been teaching elementary math for over 20 years and this is one of the few books that I've found that explains math operations in a simplistic and fun way!!! As a grandparent, I will be using this book to introduce my 7 year old grandson to the "doctor's of operation!"
