Holy hotness!!!! Loved this box set. Isla and Xander together are explosive and his filthy mouth is oh do delicious.The box set saved me the pain of the cliffy lol.. and I was able to start the redeemer, book 2, straight away!!!
Plenty of drama and a revenge plot..twists and turns aplenty which made me happy..
Still would love more Xander please

I have read JD Chase's other books. So when I was given the opportunity to read this series, I was all about it! Xander takes a filthy mouth to a whole new level. Some may take offense to it. If you are vanilla, this may not be for you. Actually if you don't understand what I mean as vanilla, you can't handle Xander.
Isla is a strong woman that knows what she wants. Great books have a resilient main character. No push overs for me. Then she meets her match. Alpha is a puny word to explain Xander. Although sometimes overbearing, he redeems himself many times. I wanted to push him off the cliff multiple times. What an awful position both Isla and Xander have been put in. You really feel the emotions the characters go through.
My review is becoming too long. All you need to know is click the BUY button. JD Chase stands out and all her books I remember. That is what matters from one book to another.
Book 1
I read this after a recommendation from a friend and i've been kicking myself for not reading it sooner. I love a dirty talking, secretive, sweet man and, for me personally, Xander met my expectations. The story kept my interest throughout, although i will say there are a LOT of dirty, dirty sex scenes in it(i'm not complaining, just pointing it out incase that's not your thing). I actually liked Isla, loved her stubborn streak the most, and was rooting for her throughout the book. I loved Dean and would have liked to of seen more of him. The ending....I'm reserving judgement on, all i'll say is i can't wait for the next book.
Book 2
This starts where The Player ends and Isla is out for revenge. A woman scorned certainly applies to her. She goes all out in her need to hurt him. The anger and hurt are palpable. It's written in a way thats realistic and completely sucks you in. Refusing to listen to Xanders side of the story, which really annoyed me, to the point I was shouting at my kindle, she starts trying to destroy his life, starting with the hotel. This book really is a rollercoaster read. And very funny. Isla's comment about what she worships had me literally crying with laughter. It's the best line in the book. It made me laugh, cringe, and get so mad. And of course the lovely Xander is back as his disgustingly dirty talking best. A brilliant conclusion to a fantastic series.

I honestly loved Xander and Isla, they are unlike any other characters I have read before and their story had me completely hooked until I had devoured the entire book! It ends on a HUGE cliffhanger so be ready to dive into The Redeemer!!
Xander is a real dirty talking alpha! Some people might find it offensive but it's who he is and I for one wouldn't change a single thing about him. Isla is a fierce leading lady, the only thing that rivals her fierceness is Xander's dominance and when they come crashing together it's one almighty explosion!

WOWZERS! OK so after that ending I was so damn nervous to pick The Redeemer up, I really wasn't sure where JD Chase was going to go with it but she blew me out of the water with all the twists and turns, it was just totally unexpected!
I couldn't help but be swept up by Xander and Isla once again, they are just so damn addictive they distracted me from my daily life! The Redeemer is full to the brim with all the secrets that weren't spilled in The Player, I can't say much without being a giant spoiler but there is so much left to come out and all of it is explosive!
This is a phenomenal conclusion to a really addictive series, thank you JD Chase for sharing these two with the world!
Oh Holy Hotness!!! This was a dirty talk lovers wet dream come true...and I mean like DA---YUM...
Xander, while he's arrogant, overbearing, controlling, filthy mouthed, hot as hell, he's got s*** going on that we don't really know about...we're given just enough to know his life isn't all roses...
Isla, aka Red, is my idol. I LOVE her!
She is feisty, stubborn and has learned to go after what she wants! She is really the perfect complement to Xander! Whoever said opposites attract never met his other half, I'm almost sure of it.
The byplay between the characters is AWESOME and the writing is fantastic. I've loved every freaking filthy dirty word! And the cliffy? Oh my...while I new something was coming...damn...so glad I have The Redeemer at hand.

Starts right off where we were...OMG...Vengeance is MINE sayeth Isla, the fierce redhead! She is still my idol...really I freaking LOVE her, even though she really has problems...I know she'll get beyond them, so even if I don't approve of how she's dealing, of course she'll come through it. Xander's just, wow, even though he's dealing with his issues...he's still just damn...I want Xander...really and truly. This story was a thrill a minute...you wanted to hate Isla...yet you wanted to love her still...you want to hate Xander, but really, could you? I think not. Another fabulously written story leading readers to adore JD Chase and become a stalker..hmmm, I didn't own up to that did I? You know what? Nevermind...I'll be a Stalker with a capital S if it gets me more foul mouthed, hot as hell, sweet dreams!

I didn't know what to expect after reading the blurb but I sure got more than I paid for. Dander took me to a place no other erotic romance book ever did. Islam is great. I love her strength but she thinks she is more righteous than anyone else. Hence, the four stars. Overall, I loved this book. I will be reading the rest of JD Chase books.
